Palworld Managing Your World
Keeping a Palworld world healthy day to day: where your save lives, how to back it up, restarts, and the common world issues and how to fix them.
Backups
The save lives in Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/<GUID>/, captured by the panel Backups tab. Daily backups are recommended, weekly at minimum. Always back up before large settings changes or any Pak mod test.
Common Issues
- Server is up but not in the community list: The list refreshes slowly. Direct IP connection works immediately.
- Players cannot connect: Confirm the port. Palworld's default is
8211/UDP(panel Network tab). - Crash on save: Usually corrupt save data. Restore from backup.
- Pals stuck at base: A long-running Palworld issue. Restart the server; if it persists, reset the affected base camp.
