Can my server be private?
Space Engineers offers private servers in two forms. You can add a server password to only allow users with the password to join, or you can whitelist your server with something a bit cooler! A Steam Group whitelist can be easily added to your rental server, this way you can allow only users in your Steam Group to play.

Am I able to become an Admin?
Making yourself an adminstrator on GameServerKings is super easy. You'll be able to add your Steam ID directly into the configuration file, and we'll work our magic to give you all of those juicy admin powers and tools to manage your server exactly how you want.

Are Steam Workshop Mods supported?
We currently allow for Steam Workshop content to be added to your game. However, we offer this feature with limited support. We maintain an up to date guide on installing them, but will not be able to assist with the setup or configuration of your mods.

Can I upload my Singleplayer world?
Using your singleplayer world is most definintely possible. With our GameServerKings control panel, you can easily manage and manipulate all of your files. It's as simple as deleting an old save, and uploading your own server to the proper location. Would you rather use a traditional FTP client? No problem! We offer access to that too.

Is there any additional setup required?
As Space Engineers requires a world to be generated, there is a small bit of setup you will need to do before you can join your server. Fear not! We have a guide covering exactly what you need to do is generate your world with the exact settings you want. If you plan on uploading a previous save, or singleplayer world, then this can be skipped entirely.
